Last Day of School 2012

Drew with his beloved Ms. Sowers

The last day of school was bittersweet. All of my boys were sad because they were already missing their awesome teachers and all of their friends. Believe me, they weren't the only sad people in our house. Summer is not my favorite.

Garrett with the amazing Mrs. Reed. I wish every child could have a teacher like her.

Aiden got an A/B Honor Roll award. I don't have a picture of Parks, but he got the Presidential Gold Seal award for having straight A's the WHOLE year! Way to go Parks!

Lovely Lyndy

I haven't posted any pictures of Lyndy lately. She is such a sweet girl. She isn't crawling yet, but she's very close. I don't know what I will do when she can get around. She's already a handful. She has A LOT of energy and she's VERY busy. She wants to be on the floor playing, not in Mommy's arms.

Her first swim. She has the most adorable pink polka-dotted swimsuit that Grandma bought for her the day we our ultrasound and found out she was a girl.

Bath time! This girl loves the tub.

This dress is what I bought the same day Grandma bought the swimsuit.
I couldn't get a very good picture of her because she was trying so hard to fall off the chair. Crazy woman!

Another Pinewood Derby Champ!

Parks had his last pinewood derby in May. He almost didn't even make a car because his past experiences weren't so good. Luckily, in the end, he decided to make a car, because he won first place in the whole stake! It was amazing! I was so happy for him. Now Aiden and Parks both have 1st place trophies. Just two more boys to go. No pressure Cody!

Mother's Day Tea

The twins had a Mother's Day Tea last month. Garrett and Drew are in separate classes, so my wonderful mom came as back-up. I went to one classroom, and she went to the other, then we switched halfway through. It was such a nice day. The children sang songs and read some things they wrote about us. The kids drew pictures of their moms, and we played a game where we had to guess which drawing was us. They made us beautiful pots with bath salts in them. What a fun day! And what a lucky mom I am.

Parks turns 10

Parks turned 10 in May. He wanted to have a 39 Clues Birthday party. The 39 clues is a book series about some kids who are secret agents, so we invited some secret agents to the party. They had to solve puzzles and complete challenges to find a treasure. The agents were all in disquise, so I don't really recognize them in these pictures. I will try my best.

Uncle Laird? Is that you?

This has to be Liam Baird. The unibrow gives him away. I overheard him telling a friend, "I don't search the Internet much, but when I do, I just "brows". Classic Baird family humor.

I think this is Arthur. No seriously. That's his real name.

The sweat rings on his shirt totally give this agent away. It's Alex Fernandez.

I don't know who this is. He may or may not have been invited to the party.
