Lyndy got her ears pierced at the mall after Christmas. She had been begging me to pierce her ears for a while. Here she is before....
And here she is after. It hurt, but she was okay once she looked in the mirror and saw her pretty earrings.
This is Lyndy's first day at Sunbeams! She brought Angel Bear just in case.
In January we went on a weekend getaway to play in the snow. We stayed at Pine Valley for one night.
Then we drove to Brian Head to go tubing on Giant Steps.
We had a great time tubing. The car ride wasn't that fun, though. Too much whining!!

Aiden and Parks got braces. Parks was excited.

Drew and Garrett competed in the Battle of the Books. They didn't win, but they had a lot of fun and read some awesome books.
The Blue and Gold Banquet was in March. The theme was "Litter to Glitter." The boys in our troop make a cake with their dad for the dessert table.
Garrett made a candy bar cake and Drew made a bulldozer cake to clean up all the candy bar wrappers.
On Easter weekend Cody, the boys and I headed up to Salt Lake to attend Conference. Lyndy stayed at Grandma's house with Aunt Maddi. We stopped off at the aquarium in Draper.
Here we are at the Conference Center. We saw the Saturday morning session. The men went back later to the Priesthood session.
Garrett, Drew and I hung out on Temple Square during the Priesthood Session. The flowers were so beautiful!!
While we were in Northern Utah, we visited Cody's grandma, Grandma Bates (Williams). It was nice to see her and watch Conference with her. She is a sweet lady.

Parks turned 13 on his birthday! I have another teenager!!!
He got a new lacrosse head that Aiden strung for him. He loved it.

Showing off her sock bun. I think she looks so cute with a sock bun, but Lyndy likes pigtails. She's VERY opinionated. She likes to wear pigtails and dresses. NO PANTS!
Drew and Garrett played soccer for their school. I was the assistant coach. The other coach yelled at the kids and I cheered for them. This is Garrett and Drew and Cody on the day of their last game of the season and the Pinewood Derby.
Drew's car was named Little Red.
Garrett's pencil car was named Writer's Block.
Drew won 3rd place in our ward and Garrett won 1st place so he was able to move on to the Stake finals.
Garrett's car did well in the finals. He took 3rd place and we were so proud! Especially Drew!

Drew won 1st place in the ward last year and 5th in the Stake. We were all happy that Garrett won this year because now they are even.
For Memorial Day weekend we went to Cedar City to help clean up Grandma Smith's yard on Saturday. It was so cold I thought it would snow!
The weather in Santa Clara on Sunday was beautiful, so we flew some kites.
Look at those beautiful storm clouds! I love rainy weather.
But here is what we have REALLY been doing for the last 5 months: LACROSSE!!
This is why I haven't been keeping up on my blog. Or my housework. Or anything.
These are pics my dad took at one of Aiden's games. He played for Somerset this year. Parks played for Venom. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of Parks playing. These boys had practice or games six days a week from January to May so we were doing nothing but lacrosse and soccer for a while.
