We were stopped at a busy intersection on our way to the library one day and Garrett said, "Mommy, yet me out!" He was frantic. I was totally confused. "See dose orange flowers? I hafta pick one!" I tried to explain to his little three-year-old mind that there was no way I was letting him out of the car at a red light to cross four lanes of oncoming traffic to pick a flower. He of course started to cry. Then he said, "But you yuv flowers," and I started to cry. He wanted to cross four lanes of oncoming traffic to pick a flower for me.
When I told Cody what happened, he hatched a plan to take Garrett to the store to buy me some flowers. These are the flowers he and Drew picked out for me. They were so proud!

Thank you Garrett!
