A Special Day for Aiden

This is Aiden's first picture as a genuine priesthood holder. He received the Aaronic priesthood from his dad and was ordained to the office of a Deacon on Sunday, October 9, 2011. He bore his testimony in sacrament meeting and I am so proud of him. I know his Heavenly Father is proud of him too. Right after I took this picture of him, he left to collect fast offerings; his very first priesthood duty!

Love Notes

Garrett is loving first grade. He has been doing a lot of writing lately. Yesterday he sent me two notes. The first one is cute, but the second one had me laughing and crying at the same time. I told him it was the best note I've ever gotten. Here they are:

I love Mom because she is so nis (nice) to me and she givse me food so I love Mom. I thek (think) she is awsume! Is she nis to other people? Yes she is.

Mom is beuoodfle (beautiful) and she is cool! Can she run rley (really) fast? No she can't because she has a baby in her tumy. Can she walk? Yes she can. Can she bend ovr (over)? No she can not because she has a baby in her tumy.

3 Birthdays In One

We celebrated Garrett's, Drew's, and Aiden's Birthdays in Veyo last weekend by renting the old Veyo skating rink. They had a blast with their Dempsey cousins and Uncle Jess (Yes, that's him on the front of the train...sorry I cut your head off Jess!)

My handsome oldest son Aiden. I can't believe he's going to be 12! Where does the time go?

The three Birthday Boys: Drew and Garrett, (who turned 6) and Aiden.

Aunt Shannon took a little spill.

Drew is a good little skater.

Parks was a good sport. It's hard to be the only non-birthday boy.

Here is a cute picture of Garrett. For some reason, my blog thinks it needs to be vertical. I'm putting it on anyway.
