A Day Out With Thomas
This week we had the chance to take the twins to Perris, California for A Day Out With Thomas at the Orange Empire Railroad Museum. It was soooooo much fun!
And after our ride...
Halloween 2008
We got to spend Halloween at Grandma's house this year. She had some fun festivities planned for us. We started off with pumpkin carving...
Aiden's goblin pumpkin.
Pin the face on the jack-o-lantern,
Pumpkin bowling (good form Garrett),
Bobbing for apples (Maddi was a champ at that, must be her big mouth),
Parks really got into it...
Then the traditional doughnut-on-a-string game,
Cheater, cheater doughnut eater...
Aiden getting fresh with his doughnut,
The twins had matching Thomas costumes
Cutie-pie Drew,
And Maddi is the champ once again (the big mouth advantage).
And finally...
the potato sack races.
Then came the Trick-or-Treating...
That's Aiden under that sheet....oooohhh!
And Parks the vampire stayed in character all night.
We had another fun Halloween! Can't wait to do it again next year!
Disneyland!
Aiden and Parks had the whole month of October off for track break, so Cody and I surprised them with a trip to Disneyland. Grandma watched the twins for us so we could make the most of our trip and spend some quality time with the big boys. We had so much fun! We got 2-day park hopper passes for Disneyland and California Adventures. The parks were decorated for Halloween, the weather was perfect, and there were hardly any lines to wait in. We almost didn't need the Dream Fast Passes they gave us at the end of the Buzz Lightyear ride. (That was so cool. The first ride we went on was the Buzz Lightyear ride. When we got off the ride some park employees were standing in the exit tunnel handing out Dream Fast Passes. They were fast passes to all the coolest rides in Disneyland and California Adventures. We were lucky to be in the right place at the right time.)
