Grandma had the great idea to have the kids make t-shirts to watch the fireworks in. The kids were all filthy when we came down from the mountain so we bathed them and had them put on their new clean shirts and shorts. To make the t-shirts, you start with a plain white shirt, then you use masking tape and foam star stickers to mark off the parts you want to keep white. Then you use sponges to dab on red and blue fabric paint. When it's dry, take off the tape and the stickers to reveal the white areas. The kids all came up with their own designs (except for the little ones of course) and they all turned out so cute!
