It's about time I got around to posting Christmas stuff.
We always start off the Christmas season with the traditional decorating of the Christmas tree, so we got out our dusty fake tree...
At which time I decided I could NOT put up the hideous 10-year-old plastic monstrosity of a christmas tree that was even UGLIER than I remembered it being last year. I can put up with some of the lights not working, but half? I don't think so. The next day I went to Walmart and got a perfectly lovely tree and the decorating commenced.
Lyndy is always grumpy for the decorating of the tree. This year was no exception.
But, when she figured out that she could hang pretty things on it, she cheered up.
We had Grandma's house all to ourselves this year. Lyndy loved making cookies for Santa.
On Christmas Eve the kids acted out the nativity. Lyndy was the CUTEST little Mary.
The kids looked cute and cozy in their Christmas PJ's.
You can see the boo boo Lyndy got when she took a header off Grandma's back porch. It was sooo sad.
This is Aiden's favorite photo. We'll probably put it on our Christmas card next year.
Christmas morning! Let the chaos begin!
Speaking of awkward family photos...
Who looks better in these: Cody
or Lyndy?
Lyndy's checking herself out in her compact. It's a toss up.
On Christmas day we went to visit Grandma Smith in Cedar City and she had snow!! While we were there, Drew's other front tooth fell out. I tried to get him to pull it out on Christmas Eve so he could sing, "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" but he wouldn't. It also would have been cool to have Santa and the Toothfairy come on the same night. It would have been just like Rise of the Guardians!
Lyndy loved the snow. I think this was her first time playing in snow.
She caught on really quickly to the snow ball throwing.
Parks made the world's tiniest snow fort.
We also played in snow at Grandma Noble's cabin in Pine Valley.
Cousins!!
Hugs for Noah. Lyndy loves Noah.
Aiden and Parks are looking so grown up! I can't believe another Christmas has come and gone. It goes by too fast!
On New Year's Day, we went on a picnic in Snow Canyon, which is one of my favorite places in the whole world. It was a beautiful day.
A little picnic is always fun! Especially if it has chocolate pudding!
Happy New Year everyone! We hope it's a good one!
