June 2013

At the end of June, the boys went to Lake Powell with Cody and his family, so Lyndy and I spent a few days at Grandma's house. It was just the girls and we had a good time.

When the boys got home, we went to Pine Valley to cool off.

Mmmm. That's gooood watermelon!

Like Mother Like Daughter

Here is Lyndy wearing a dress that my mom made for me when I was little. My mom says that I didn't like to wear it, but Lyndy loves it and she looks soooo cute in it.

End of the School Year

We spent a lot of time in March, April, and May watching lacrosse. Aiden and Parks had a good season. These pictures are were taken at the last game of the year, which was a Jamboree. Aiden is wearing the red shorts.

This is Parks playing awesome defense.

He's wearing the purple, white and gray shorts.

It was a fun season guys! Can't wait for next year!

Drew and Garrett received awards for "A" Honor Roll, Citizenship, and the Presidential Award of Excellence at their end of the year assembly. I was the proudest mom in the room! Twice as proud as all the other moms!

Aiden received an award for "A/B" Honor Roll. He would have gotten "Perfect Attendance" also, but I took my kids out of school the day before the assembly to go to Wet 'N Wild. :( Sorry Aiden!
Parks got "A/B" Honor Roll, Citizenship, the Star Spanish Award, and a certificate for Top Ten AR Points in Fifth Grade-10th. I don't have a picture of him, because we were at Wet 'N Wild on the day of his assembly. He almost got "A" Honor Roll, but he got a B+ in writing the last quarter. That was pretty disappointing, but I am super proud of him. 5th grade was HARD!
Way to go smart kids!

Arrow of Light

Parks received his Arrow of Light Award on May 15, 2013

He walked over the bridge to Boy Scouts.

Congratulations Parks!

Busy Weekend

We went up to St. George this weekend for the Ironman 70.3. There was a kids race on Friday night that Parks wanted to run in. He only had to run a mile and he got a medal. Cody and Aiden went to check out the race on Saturday morning. Cody said it was awesome. I guess they saw some famous athletes. People I have never heard of. Then, we had a Cinco de Mayo style Birthday party for Parks. He is turning 11 on Monday. We had a piƱata and some yummy Mexican food. After that, we hurried back home for the lacrosse team's Spaghetti Dinner and Awards Night. Aiden got The Stick Skillz Award. He was so proud. What a fun and busy weekend!
