My Little Sister's Wedding

My baby sister Maddi got married on November 17th. It was beautiful and so fun to see everyone I love. She was married in the St. George temple. All the kids were patiently waiting for Aunt Maddi to come out of the temple.

What a wonderful day! Congratulations Maddi and Eric!

The Turkey Triathlon

Cody, Aiden, Drew, and Garrett participated in the Turkey Triathlon this year on November 10th at Sand Hollow Aquatic Center in St. George. It turned out to be the coldest day of the year! Perfect for getting out of a pool and riding a bike in the icy wind.

Cody had to buy some winter gear for this race.

A few of Cody's friends also ran the race. L to R we have Cody, Dave Walnum, Lance Bohne, and Lindsey Little. Cody took 3rd place in his division.
It warmed up slightly for Aiden's race. He did the adult beginner race.

Aiden won first place in his division.
Garrett (L) and Drew before the race. They were so excited! Cody made a training schedule for them so the race was a piece of cake.
Being on swim team last summer really helped with the swimming part.
Drew was a little ahead going into the cycling.
Cute Garrett smiled like that for the entire race. He was having fun!
Drew crossed the finish line first.
 Then Garrett came along.
All the kids received a medal for participating. I'm so proud of all of my racers. Maybe Parks and I will do the next one.

Tricks and Treats

Grandma Noble sent some fun treats in the mail. It's amazing what she can do with paper!

The lids come off the "jars" and they were stuffed full of candy. So cute!

Grandma Noble is so tricky!

Pumpkins

The boys worked hard carving their pumpkins. They did a great job. Drew's was extra scary!

Garrett's Jack-o-lantern had a scary unibrow.

Aiden used his pumpkin to campaign for Mitt.

Lyndy's two teeth inspired her "Baby Girl Pumpkin."

Parks used his pumpkin to campaign for himself.

And Lyndy liked her pumpkin even better once it had a face.

Drew Lost His First Tooth!

Drew joined the ranks of the toothless on Oct. 29th. Then he lost his second one the next day. Then Garrett lost his second the day after that...Whew! The poor tooth fairy needs a break!

Lyndy Belle is One

Lyndy had her 1st birthday this week. Nobody can believe she is already one!

We were supposed to go to Grandma's house to celebrate, but Drew and Garrett were sick so we couldn't go.

Lyndy loves strawberries, so she had a strawberry shortcake ice cream cake. Yum!

I think she liked it!

She definitely liked the pumpkins Grandpa brought on his truck.

We love our little Birthday Girl!

School Trunk or Treat

My kids' school had it's Trunk or Treat on Friday night. Garrett and Drew were Lego guys. I made their heads out of pretzel jars.

This is Garrett.

And here is Drew.

Aiden and Parks were headless guys with their heads in a jar. Perfect for a couple of kids who don't use their heads anyway.

And here is our sweet Lyndy Lion. I made this costume for Aiden, and each of my kids has worn it.
It fit her perfectly and she looked adorable in it. She can even say "Roarrr"... if she feels like it.
