Pumpkins

The boys worked hard carving their pumpkins. They did a great job. Drew's was extra scary!

Garrett's Jack-o-lantern had a scary unibrow.

Aiden used his pumpkin to campaign for Mitt.

Lyndy's two teeth inspired her "Baby Girl Pumpkin."

Parks used his pumpkin to campaign for himself.

And Lyndy liked her pumpkin even better once it had a face.

Drew Lost His First Tooth!

Drew joined the ranks of the toothless on Oct. 29th. Then he lost his second one the next day. Then Garrett lost his second the day after that...Whew! The poor tooth fairy needs a break!

Lyndy Belle is One

Lyndy had her 1st birthday this week. Nobody can believe she is already one!

We were supposed to go to Grandma's house to celebrate, but Drew and Garrett were sick so we couldn't go.

Lyndy loves strawberries, so she had a strawberry shortcake ice cream cake. Yum!

I think she liked it!

She definitely liked the pumpkins Grandpa brought on his truck.

We love our little Birthday Girl!

School Trunk or Treat

My kids' school had it's Trunk or Treat on Friday night. Garrett and Drew were Lego guys. I made their heads out of pretzel jars.

This is Garrett.

And here is Drew.

Aiden and Parks were headless guys with their heads in a jar. Perfect for a couple of kids who don't use their heads anyway.

And here is our sweet Lyndy Lion. I made this costume for Aiden, and each of my kids has worn it.
It fit her perfectly and she looked adorable in it. She can even say "Roarrr"... if she feels like it.

Who's Beautiful?

Lyndy is!

Garrett lost his first tooth!

Garrett finally joined the toothless ranks! He wiggled it relentlessly, until it finally popped out right before school on October 9. Now we are waiting on pins and needles for Drew to lose his first tooth. It could happen any day!

My Baby is a Teenager!

Aiden turned 13 this month! We celebrated with a backyard movie night. We moved the couch outside and let Aiden and his friends watch Napoleon Dynamite on a movie projector. Then they roasted marshmallows and played night games. I think the kids had a good time. I guess if I have to have a teenager, Aiden is a good one to have. We love him and we are VERY proud of him.
