Swim Team 2012

All of my boys were on swim team this year, even Drew and Garrett. It was awesome to see the twins' swimming improve 100% over the summer.

We only participated in one swim meet (because they are so BRUTAL) and unfortunately, it was called halfway through because of lightning. So, Drew and Parks didn't get to race. Drew was sooo disappointed.

Aiden raced in the 100 freestyle and got either 2nd or 3rd. (It was hard to tell from where we were)

Garrett raced in a 25 backstroke and got 1st place! He was beaming!
I know Drew and Parks would have done great in their races too.
I'm so proud of all my guppies!

We had an awesome summer full of fun. Here are some of the things we did:
Waterfights with cousins at Grandma's house

 Swimming at Town Square

Decorating the 3D glasses we got at Tuacahn when we went to see Aladdin

Catching baby frogs at the river

Spending the night at Grandma Noble's cabin in Pine Valley
 Lyndy's first hike!

 Playing in the creek
Lyndy wanted to get in too

 4th of July Parade!

 Lyndy's first parade

4th of July picnic at Grandma Smith's cabin

We flew to Texas and went to the Alamo

We stayed in a haunted hotel, oooooh.
We went to the world's most awesome waterpark: the Schlitterbahn
And we went to our cousin Libby's baptism.

The boys also went to Lake Powell with Dad and their Noble cousins.
We had a such a great summer!

Last Day of School 2012

Drew with his beloved Ms. Sowers

The last day of school was bittersweet. All of my boys were sad because they were already missing their awesome teachers and all of their friends. Believe me, they weren't the only sad people in our house. Summer is not my favorite.

Garrett with the amazing Mrs. Reed. I wish every child could have a teacher like her.

Aiden got an A/B Honor Roll award. I don't have a picture of Parks, but he got the Presidential Gold Seal award for having straight A's the WHOLE year! Way to go Parks!
