24th of July

We were invited, along with Grandma, Maddi, Aunt Hillary and her kids, to my Aunt Karen's cabin at Navajo Lake over the 24th of July weekend.

We couldn't keep the boys out of the fire. Little pyros.

Aiden and Emma on one of our hikes.

Two little peas, Garrett and Drew.

Sawyer and his famous baseball hat. (He never takes it off)

Hiking buddies.

We made it to the top of a really steep hill.

Aunt Karen took us to a pond about 5 miles from her cabin that was full of all kinds of things boys love: snakes, snails, frogs and pollywogs.

Cordell is training to become the next crocodile hunter.

Libby Loo, cute as can be.

Emma and McKayl didn't want to hold the snakes at first, but it didn't take long for them to become snake charmers. They even put them around their necks! Ewwww!

Cordell caught some frogs that still had their tails.

When you have four big brothers like Jaycee does, you can't be afraid of a little snake.

After the snake fest, we tried fishing at Navajo Lake.

McKayl was the only one who caught a fish.

Cute girl twins.

Cute boy twins.

Libby is a great fishing buddy.

All the kids: L to R, the ones behind the other kids are McKayl Scott and Aiden Noble. The kids sitting on the log are Drew Noble, Garrett Noble, Parks Noble, Emma Scott, Mitchell Smith holding Jaycee Smith, Logan Smith and Cordell Smith. The kids in front are Libby Scott and Carter Smith.

We took a hike to Cascade Falls. The scenery was beautiful.

Thank you Aunt Karen and Uncle Dennis for a great time!

I Forgot One

I forgot to post this picture I took on the 4th of July. It was taken on Grandma Smith's front porch.
I'm dividing it into 5 rows. Starting in the back L to R are McKayl Scott, Parks Noble, and Emma Scott.
Next row down: Aiden Noble, Logan Smith, Mitchell Smith, and Cordell Smith.
In the middle we have Libby Scott and Carter Smith. Next row down are Drew Noble, Noah Whitley, and Garrett Noble. And the little guy on the bottom step is Sawyer Scott.

4th of July

We had a fun 3-day-weekend this 4th of July. We went to Cedar Mountain on Saturday. It was fun to have Hillary and her family there. We rode Uncle Dennis's 4-wheelers. (L to R: Zach, Emma, Aiden, Maddi, Libby, McKayl, and Parks)

Maddi and her 5 o'clock shadow.

There were some very manly activities going on; like tree-chopping.

And fire-building.

Cutie Drew

Campfire cousins Sawyer and Garrett

Aiden

We had great seats for the parade on Monday (thanks Aunt Karen). (L to R: Aiden, Sawyer, Emma, McKayl, Libby, and Parks)

Noah, Drew and Garrett with Carter sitting next to Garrett and Mitchell, Aunt Karen, Grandma Smith, and Grandma in the background.

We're cute! Give us some candy!

Maddi loves parades. I had to restrain her so she wouldn't run into traffic.

Cutie pie Emma.

Cutie pie McKayl.

Cutie pie Libby.

The family baseball game at the elementary school was so fun.
It was the Saints (the kids) vs. the Sinners (the adults).

Cody nearly broke a window in the school. He said he wasn't even trying to hit it hard. He's so manly.

After the game, we went to Aunt Karen and Uncle Dennis's house to play in the water. The water balloon launcher was a bit hit. This is Garrett with a water balloon.

This is Garrett launching a water balloon.

And this is the end of my post. (That's Mario AnDREWti in the race car. Tee Hee.)

Swim Team

Aiden and Parks are on a swim team this summer. They go every day after school and
I think it's been really fun for them. They are getting some really great exercise and learning how to swim and having fun with their friends. They had their first swim meet last Saturday. Neither of them placed, but I heard Aiden say "That was fun!" after one of his races and that is really what it's all about.

Parks the Bobcat

Parks finished his Bobcat and received his patch on June 16th. Way to go Parks!
